Education Summary: Md. Shamiull Alim Munna is a M.Phil (Fellow) Researcher in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. He earned his M.Sc. in Chemistry (with Thesis) and B.Sc. (Honours) in Chemistry from the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. Before commencing his M.Phil studies, he worked as a Research Assistant in the Polymer Colloids & Nanomaterials (PCN) Laboratory. His research focuses on the synthesis and functionalization of polymer colloids and nanocomposites of magnetic nanoparticles, as well as the development of fluorescent nanomaterials for Biomolecule detection. He established a good behaviour of the magnetic particles as a separator for DNA.

Research Interests: Polymer colloid chemistry: Functional polymer particles, Morphology, Inorganic/organic composite microspheres, etc., Iron oxide magnetic nanoparticles with fluorescent material for biomolecule detection.
